Charitable Donations in Oklahoma City
Boeing supports the local community in Oklahoma City. In 2018, we awarded 10 grants to nonprofits, including $420,000 in STEM grants to organizations such as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma, Dove Science Academy and the Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City. We also provided $230,000 in grants to many organizations that support veterans and their families. Mental Health Association Oklahoma is one example. They provide outreach and mental health support services to Oklahoma City's homeless veterans. We also support Oklahoma City Community College, which helps veterans working to earn two-year STEM degrees. Boeing OKC is also proud of our nearly 3,000 employees in Oklahoma who volunteered more than 7,000 hours and who, along with the company, gave more than $1.2 million in local charitable donations in the past year.
