Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking an Associate or Mid-Level Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our team located in Hazelwood, MO at our Aerospace Composites Center (ACC) site supporting our metals facility.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain. Analyzes complex material requirements.
  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan.
  • Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability.
  • Ensures on-time delivery.
  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies.
  • Reports schedule adherence issues.
  • Develops and controls inventory plans.
  • Optimizes inventory levels.
  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories.
  • Initiates audits.
  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services.
  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
  • Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance.
  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain management or materials management
  • 1+ years of experience with supply chain forecasting
  • 1+ years of experience interpreting Bill of Materials
  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications and Product) 
  • 1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 1+ years of experience scheduling
  • 1+ years of experience ordering inventories/supplies
  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain management analysis or materials management analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Level 3:

  • 3+ Experience with eTRAC system (or equivalent shortage tracking system)
  • 3+ Experience with CMES system (or equivalent non-conformance management system)
  • 3+ Experience working in manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)

Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Associate (Level 2) : USD $62,050-$76,650

Summary pay range for Mid-Level (Level 3) : USD $76,500-$94,500
