Project Description:
  • Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center [BIETC] is based in Bangalore, India and is engaged in the development of advanced aerospace and aviation technologies.
  • We have an immediate opening for an experienced Project Management Analyst. This position will be assigned to the Information Technology & Data Analytics, Global Information Technology group in Boeing India.
  • This position provides a tremendous opportunity for the right candidate to contribute to the transformation of Boeing's Key operations.
  • Project managers on this team will be responsible for delivering business process, information/data models and services, building the team metrics, configuration and build of information technology solutions leveraging commercial-off the shelf software with global teams of IT.
  • As a project Management - Analyst, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
  • Implementation of Program Management Best Practices. Includes developing and executing integrated plans, policies and issues, and opportunities and mitigation.
  • Provide project execution ensuring completion of program phases and maintains accountability for overall program health, maintaining situational awareness and taking appropriate action to ensure successful projects.
  • Implements plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved. Monitors appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.
  • Proactively communicates with peers and partners throughout Boeing, including supplier partners. Keep others informed by communicating project status, conducting and participating in team meetings, providing presentations and listening to others concerns and suggestions.
  • Establish partnership and engage with internal and external stakeholders, maintain relationships/partnerships with internal/external customers, peers and partners to develop strategies, goals and objectives that are consistent with organization strategy and drive business solutions.  The position will be pivotal in creating and maintaining relationships with US-based stakeholders and working closely with those stakeholders in planning and forecasting activities of the team as well as reporting requirements from stakeholders
  • Generate project scope, schedule and budget baselines based on an understanding of the business process development and system development lifecycle. Negotiates changes to program/project baselines. Identifies and negotiates for necessary resources to meet program/project goals.  Conducts analysis and recommends resource allocation. Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners and customers.
  • Provides project execution ensuring completion of program phases and coordination and analysis of program metrics (e.g., SPI, CPI, EV, TPM/KPI, etc) maintaining accountability for overall program health. Recommends program recovery and acceleration plans, changes and corrective actions.  Develops and implements customer and program communication and contact plans.
Desired Skills:
  • Program and Project Management Best Practices, Agile Scrum Master, Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), ITG Clarity, Microsoft Project, Milestone, BORIS, AD&S, ARIS or other Modeling tools
