As the Human Resources (HR) Strategic Business Partner to the Government Operations organization, you will be responsible for partnering with senior executives and managers responsible for the company’s public policy efforts, including all U.S. federal, state and local government liaison operations as well as Boeing’s Global Corporate Citizenship organization.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Develops effective skills/talent management solutions that drive business results, partnering with management to integrate business, human resource and organizational change management strategies and action plans to improve operational effectiveness, leadership, workforce planning and talent acquisition
  • Collaborates with leaders to drive the development of Business Plans, Talent Management strategies and scorecards, including the development of metrics
  • Uses business knowledge to make recommendations and proposals on key business strategies, develops long and short term strategies involving policies (e.g., Diversity, Employee Engagement and Functional Excellence) and embeds people plans in the operating rhythm of the organization
  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of HR products and services by engaging other HR resources as appropriate; influencing process improvement by working with others; utilizing conflict resolution techniques, and making the necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure employee perspectives are considered
  • Coach's all employee levels including management on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence is required
  • Accountable for the quality and delivery of all HR products and services by engaging HR functional partners as appropriate
  • Deploys and administers HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • Develops integrated HR initiatives and solutions to advance organizational objectives
  • Analyzes staffing and diversity strategy performance and develops corrective solutions
  • Partners with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectives
  • Consults with management on staff selection
  • Leads or conducts employee investigations, tracks and monitors case activities

The position requires strategic thinking, strong written and oral communication skills, talent management experience, collaboration, independent judgment and the ability to influence others. The effective candidate will be able to demonstrate the following: strong leadership skills and a passion for creating trustworthy relationships; development of individuals/ teams to succeed toward their goals; understanding and application of coaching with individuals/ teams and facilitative leadership; developing strong customer relationships including influencing leaders to demonstrate Boeing values; understanding and application of Employee Engagement and Lean principles, practices and tools; knowledge of HR strategies, policies, processes, employment law and industry trends; and consistently approaches assignments with flexibility, creativity and a positive attitude

Qualifications

Typical Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Basic Qualifications (Required)
•Three (3) or more years experience in an HR business partner related role supporting executive employees


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
