Boeing Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) is searching for a Systems Administrator to join one of our engineering teams.

In this role, you will:

Configure, integrate and deploy both Linux and Windows servers and workstations for a cutting-edge Research and Development (R&D) Platform.
Identify, troubleshoot and solve system problems / issues that will include hardware, software, servers, workstations, and Thin Clients.

Required Professional Experience and Education:

Active TS/SCI with polygraph
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for four (4) years of experience, or a Master of Science degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information systems or related discipline may be substituted for six (6) years’ experience. DoD 8570 compliance – at minimum, IAT Category, Level II.
Eight (8) years systems administration experience including but not limited to:
Adminstering user accounts
Providing input to the design of the organizations systems and mission architecture.
Vmware and virtualization.
System configurations
System accreditation support
Storage filers (e.g., NetApp, Isolon)
Operating systems (e.g., Windows, Unix/Solaris, LINUX)
File management and system troubleshooting
Software and hardware installation and maintenance
User administration
System tuning
System security practices
System backup/restore procedures
Configuration management
Backups
Installation of software
Network management
Performing server subsystem configuration

Desired Experience:

Continuous integration experience / understanding
Atlassian experience
HPC cluster experience
