Job Description

The Boeing Company has an opening for a critical position on the F/A-18 Capture Team. This position reports to the F/A-18 Capture Team Leader and is located in either St Louis, MO or Arlington, VA. This position is responsible for the development of marketing, business and campaign strategies with an emphasis on E/A-18 Growler procurement and modernization. This individual will be required to develop and implement program strategies to extend the current portfolio and grow new opportunities through the development of campaign capture strategies, goals, and objectives required to meet and exceed business growth objectives and long range business plan targets.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide expert U S Navy customer understanding of the Airborne Electronic Warfare mission area, and with that understanding, development customer solutions.
  • Consult with program management to balance customer expectations and company resources. Work closely with the Global Marketing and Global Sales team to develop and capture international Growler sales where applicable.
  • The selected candidate will facilitate close coordination and proper communication between Boeing business units, Field Offices, and supporting organizations/individuals to ensure a unified, cohesive one Boeing voice to the customer.
  • This person must have expertise with the Airborne Electronic Warfare mission, as well as have familiarity the US Navy/DoD requirements, budgeting and acquisition processes. Pilot/EWO background in EA-6B/EA-18G aircraft with detailed technical knowledge of the Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) mission is a plus.
  • This individual must possess flawless analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex problems into cogent recommendations to advise senior leadership.

Qualifications

Typical Education/ Experience:

Technical bachelor's degree and typically 20 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 18 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

 

Basic Qualification (Required):

 

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Applicants MUST include their security clearance level, investigation type and investigation date clearly on their resume.

  • Experience leading or managing teams
  • Experience developing and managing budgets
  • Experience leading or managing programs and/or projects
  • Experience with USAF (U.S. Air Force) and DoD (Department of Defense) requirements, PPBE (Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution) and/or acquisition processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Operational military experience, and/or prior direct exposure to military customers
  • Business capture experience
