Job Description
The Boeing Company is hiring for a Systems Engineer. The Experimental Systems Group designs, tests, and operates new technologies for space applications. Activities will include systems engineering for integration of vehicle systems, test data reviews, coordination of design changes and change tracking, and systems operations support including CONOPS, Fault, and operating procedure development. This position is located in Aurora, Colorado.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • The candidate will perform flight system integration for the Experimental Systems Group.
  • Candidate will support experiment integration and development including system trades, requirements development, and test data reviews.
  • Candidate will support development of major review packages including briefings to senior leadership.

This position requires an active Current SSB/Special Programs Access U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) 
This position requires a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
SCI required and SSBI required (within 5 years)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering
  • Experience in engineering classification
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Flight platform systems integration experience
Typical Education/Experience:
Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
