Job Description

Boeing is a seeking a Software Developer to support an Operational environment and join a dynamic team that is focused on designing and delivering a mission critical software solution.

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

 

Must want to work within an agile development environment. Must enjoy working as part of a larger team and be comfortable voicing opinions and adding overall value to the process and solution. Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. Develops software verification plans, test procedures and test environments, executing the test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Develops, selects, tailors, integrates, and deploys software. Executes and documents software research and development projects.

Qualifications

Typical Education/Experience:

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

 

Required Skills:

  • Current/Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance is required. (Note: If you
    held a security clearance within the last two years, your clearance is considered current/active).
  • Java WebLogic, Git, Linux-Bash Scripting, Python Scripting, Oracle Database, Basic networking skills

 

Desired Skills:

  • Atlassian Suite (Bamboo, Bit Bucket, JIRA)
  • Eclipse IDE, Puppet, SQL Developer, PKI
