Introduction:
We are looking to hire an Ethics Advisor to join our Boeing Ethics & Business Conduct (EBC) Organization based in Beijing, which is part of Boeing’s Global Compliance organization.
In this role you will support Boeing's International leadership teams located in China.
Responsibilities:
The Boeing compliance and ethics program is focused on the following:
Establishing, engaging and embedding an open and accountable culture
Ensuring the appropriate compliance controls are defined and monitored for ethics and business conduct processes
Executing an effective and efficient case management process that enhances productivity and employee satisfaction
Key responsibilities will be:
Oversee, coordinate and implement the business’ compliance and ethics program across the region
Promote an organizational culture that encourages ethical conduct and a commitment to compliance
Provide advice, counsel and interpretation of ethics and business conduct guidelines for appropriate solutions to individual’s concerns, inquiries, conflict of interest or allegations of misconduct
Build strong and effective relationships across the business and engage leadership to increase awareness and ensure mitigation of compliance and ethical risks in alignment with business objectives
Develop and coordinate appropriate training and communication initiatives for employees at all levels
Promote an organizational culture where employees feel safe to report concerns and coordinate with the appropriate organizations to support remedial efforts
Meet regularly with management to discuss compliance issues, coordinate efforts, and collaborate on ethics and compliance initiatives
Participate and contribute to compliance risk assessment reviews and analysis as necessary
Maintain a solid understanding of new and proposed regulatory developments and assist with analyzing the impact of those developments on the ethics and compliance program
Lead and/or support special projects and other duties as assigned
Work Authorization:
Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
This role is based in Beijing, but will require frequent travel across North Asia.
Basic Qualifications:
More than 5 years relevant working experience.
Bachelor degre and/or equivalent experience is required.
You will need to be able to work independently and demonstrate experience of presenting recommendations at a senior level.
Fluent in both written and verbal English and Chinese.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
