The Marketing and Strategy Specialist is part of the Beijing team who supports China & Northeast Asia Marketing and Sales.  In this role, the analyst will support aircraft and services campaign activities with airline customers, facilitate customers for industry and government engagements on key aviation issues and topics, and work closely with the marketing team in Seattle to drive Boeing Commercial Airplanes marketing strategy in China and the broader region.

Detailed Statement of Work is as per below:
  • Work closely with the Managing Director of Northeast Asia for marketing on key aviation issues and strategies in China. 
  • Develop marketing value stories and product highlights to successfully position Boeing Commercial Airplanes products and services with customers in China & Northeast Asia. 
  • Work with the China marketing team to support translation and presentation of key materials to key aviation stakeholders in China. 
  • Run airplane performance, economic analysis, fleet plans and other technical marketing tools to support sales campaigns and customer requirements. 
  • Organize and support Boeing and industry engagement events with key aviation stakeholders in China positioning Boeing products and services to the market. 
  • Work as part of a sales team supporting individual airline accounts through all phases of the sales process.

This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll.
Basic Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or marketing discipline (i.e. Engineering, Economics, Business, and Finance) or related with minimum 8 years of experience in commercial aviation industry is preferred.
  2. Candidate must be eligible working in China
  3. Language fluency (in English and Mandarin) both in verbal and written.
  4. Proficiency with Microsoft office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  5. Familiarity with Boeing Commercial products and services
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. MBA preferred
  2. Understanding of aircraft technical capabilities and competitive value differentiators
  3. Proficiency with one or more key technical performance / economic tools used in BCA (APNav, ICAS, CEM, Fleet Planning tools)
  4. Ability to use Office tools for detailed financial & economic modeling
  5. Ability to create and present compelling presentations at both technical and executive level
