Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is based in Bangalore, India and is engaged in the development of advanced aerospace and aviation technologies. As Associate Software Engineer - Android Developer, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. We provide re-vamped work environments focused on delivering data-driven solutions at a rapidly increased pace over traditional development. Position Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
- Collaborate with the design team to define app features
- Design and implement application updates.
- Responsible for choosing libraries and frameworks to best meet the needs of the application
- Work with product managers and UI/UX designers to create a secure, seamless mobile experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- The candidate must be proficient in Java and Kotlin for Android development
- Must know git, gradle and Maven
- Must have working knowledge of JUnit
- Should have knowledge about fastlane and gityml for Devops activity
- Should have worked on 3rd party library integration and modification
- Support both phone and tablet.
- Working knowledge of RestAPI
- Familiarity with CI/CD
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Excellent working knowledge of the entire software development life-cycle.
Typical Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of experience is must
