Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team is currently looking for one Experienced Technical Writer  to join their team in Bengaluru, KA. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. We provide re-vamped work environments focused on delivering data-driven solutions at a rapidly increased pace over traditional development. Position Responsibilities:

• Create original product documentation for Airport and Airspace modelling product.
• Use Help-generation program to create In-line help (within Reference Manual)
• Collaborate with Product owner, Development team and Training team for all documentation related work as needed.
• Review product backlog and release cycle to determine features/updates with documentation impact.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of experience in Technical Writing
• 5+ years of experience with Adobe Framemaker, WebWorks e-Publisher Designer
• Proficient in Atlassian JIRA, Confluence

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Familiarity with HTML or XML.
• Familiarity with SW repository systems, such as, SVN, Git
• Familiarity with C++, C# related engineering software development
• Oral communication capability to elicit technical information from engineers
• Experience with aviation related programs, services products and documentation
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Science or English

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 8+ or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+7 years' related work experience.
