The Boeing Company is currently seeking a SAP Cost to Report Architect to join Business and Supply Chain Systems team. In this role you will develop integrated systems architecture views for processes, data and components.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Collaborates with individuals across departments (IT and business) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate FICO solutions, develop approaches and define deliverables required to implement complex business processes and solutions.
  • Define requirements and designs and verify robust architecture data and information management systems and components across SAP and non-SAP systems. Establish design constraints and ensure architecture conforms to requirements. Assess the feasibility of architecture solutions using SAP and revenue accounting expertise and provide alternatives based on SAP and industry best practices. Perform trade-off analyses.
  • Provide process expertise and solutions in FICO, FSCM, Consolidation, Tax, Revenue Accounting, Revenue Recognition area and integration with other SAP Modules and non-SAP tools
  • Responsible for process analysis, functional and logical system design, configuration and implementation. Lead team members to ensure appropriate integration of processes and modules across the organization.
  • Leading the evaluation of new releases or alternate software, reviewing business and technical literature and interacting with analysts and user groups.
  • Leading the development and configuration management of architecture views and models that describe the system using standard techniques and tools
  • Supporting the specification of documentation and model standard forms and tools.
  • Ensure that all SAP solutions follow security, compliance controls, and conformance to firms IT security standard
  • Working with the ERP Architect colleagues, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle of SAP systems and capabilities in the ERP ecosystem.
 
Required Skills
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 12-15 years of experience developing SAP business systems and processes in large and complex business environment
  • Relevant Industry certifications for SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Management Accounting (CO)
  • Ability to assist with assessments of the impact of architectural decisions across applications.
  • Create, maintain and implement standards and reference architectures
  • Understanding of full systems development lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of various functional architecture solutions.
 
Desired Skills
 
  • 12-15 years of experience in configuring, implementing and maintaining SAP FICO, Consolidation and Tax solutions with progressive responsibility and influence.
  • 2  full lifecycle implementations including: Scoping and Planning, Process Design, Configuration, Testing,     Deployment, and Post Go-Live Support. Minimum 1 E2E implementation experience in SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Excellent configuration and training skills in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, & Internal Orders.
  • SAP CO-PC: Product Costing with Material Ledger.
  • Knowledge of SAP Funds Management, Cash Management and Treasury is desired.
  • SAP EBS configuration, various bank statement formats BAI2, MT940. Should be well versed with the AP payment medium work bench and the classic payment medium programs.
  • SAP Project systems, experience in resolving the month end WBS settlement issues, fixed Assets and AUC settlements
  • Experience with Business Process and/or Services Modeling in global business environment.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior executives.
  • The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) certification is desired
