We are looking for an individual that will work within the Global IT Infrastructure Service (GITIS) in the Enterprise Tools & Automation Service organization. These roles will support the ServiceNow enterprise program known as the Global Service Engagement Platform (GSEP) program in various roles of development/ configuration and operations. The selected candidates will be part of the ETA organization Boeing India team and will work closely with other in the US and the local ETA Boeing India team members.
 
These positions on the GSEP program will work and support across the program and interact with a diverse range of people and systems. We expect team member to demonstrate initiative and eager to learn, be adaptable, and have exhibit a fundamental understanding to the strategy vision to leveraging out of box and no customizations approach for this implementations.
 
ServiceNow Development/ Configuration:
This position on the GSEP program be working with the other team member supporting the IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, and IT Asset Management implementation of the ServiceNow platform. This program includes deploying best practices and industry best practices. This includes supporting and maintaining the automated testing of the GSEP program using Selenium, Team Foundation Server (TFS), and ServiceNow testing tools.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  
  • Designs and develops new ServiceNow applications and services
  • Takes ownership of complex business requirements and completes the associated development to completion
  • Assists ServiceNow System Administrators with incident resolution, as needed
  • Assists ServiceNow Business Analyst in estimating release level of effort
  • Reviews requirement specifications and technical designs and provides meaningful feedback
  • Creates comprehensive and well-structured test plans, suites, and cases
  • Identifies, documents, and tracks software defects
  • Performs thorough regression testing of resolved defects
 
 
ServiceNow Operations:
 
This position on the GSEP program will coordinating with a GSEP global operation support team to ensure a true 24x7 support model for a one team approach. We expect the candidate to demonstrate initiative and eager to learn, be adaptable, and have exhibit a fundamental understanding of how IT application systems operate. This will also require the person to have development, system admin, and analytical skills to interpret, route, and solve the ticket appropriately. 
 
Note: this position could require support outside the normal first shift hours.
 
Key position actions:
• Manages and resolves incidents against ServiceNow applications (GSEP and HI)
• Performs routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
• Schedules and verifies instance clones
• ServiceNow upgrade execution
• Manages Instance Security, User/Group Access/Access Control Lists
• Contributes to ServiceNow releases
