Job Description:
 
Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) is based in Bangalore , India and is engaged in the development of advanced aerospace and aviation technologies. As an  software developer the select individual will work with the Boeing Digital Aviation (DA) team to develop, maintain and improve all designated DA applications to provide a world-class product suite for Boeing customers globally.
 
  • Proven ability to produce scalable , flexible , robust and efficient designs using data driven architechture with technologies such as JAVA, Spring Boot ,Spring Cloud, Spring data and Spring security, RESTful APIs
  • Should have experience in Software Engineering Domain with evidence of thorough understanding of requirements to solve problems and actively participates in software development.
  • Should have excellent communication skills
 
Desired Skills:
 
  • Design & develop full stack modules and components    
  • Experience with Micro services based architecture.
  • Good understanding and experience of distributed systems design considerations.
  • Experience in JAVA, Spring Boot ,Spring Cloud, Spring data and Spring security, RESTful APIs
  • Experience in modelling NoSQL databases such as Mongo DB
  • Good understanding with container technologies Docker, Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Design & Design Patterns
  • Good Understanding on Micro services Authentication ,monitoring, testing, documentation(Swagger etc.)
  • Experience on Agile/Scrum based software development Methodology.
  • Nice to have skills around public cloud AWS and Azure.
  • Knowledge on Asynchronous processing in Micro services and Event queues. Apache Camel, Active MQ, Rabbit MQ.
  • Aware of best practices and tools around CI/CD.
  • Experience analyzing customer requirements and suggesting creative solutions to business problems
  • Contribute to the enhancement of department application development/delivery standards, tools and processes

Qualifications
  • 1-5 years of Experience  as a software developer
  • Bachelor's degree in science, technology, applied mathematics or engineering is required and Masters degree would be preferred.
  • Candidates with experience in Aviation domain would be preferred.
  • Experience working in a global organization is preferred.
