Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Experienced Skills Enhancement Coach - Structures (MQ-25) within Air Dominance in Berkeley, Missouri!

As a member of this team, you will continuously develop and manage the structure to enable the pace and performance of the Skill Enhancement team. You will maintain positive relationships with multi-function team leaders and drive a deep understanding of the One Boeing Production System principles and standards, production health, and problem solving.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria.  

  • Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results.  

  • Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes.  

  • Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans.  

  • Works under general direction.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. 

Initial work location will be in Berkeley, Missouri and will transition to Mascoutah, Illinois (Mid-America Airport) when the program relocates.

Shift: 

This position is for a variable shift.

Security Clearance Requirement:

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.) 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • More than 5 years of experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. 

  • More than 5 years of experience with assembly and structures manufacturing.

  • Experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

  • Completed a blueprint reading class.

  • Experience with sheet metal assemblies, drilling, countersinking, riveting, and fastener installation.

  • Experience reading and interpreting technical data.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience coaching one or more individuals at a time and providing feedback. 

  • Experience interpreting and delivering specific process driven instruction based on feedback from Manufacturing Operations and Quality. 

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.

  • Experience adjusting course in a dynamic shop floor manufacturing environment. 

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $79,050 - $106,950
