Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) in Berkeley, Missouri is seeking a Product Security Engineering Senior Manager to lead a team of Product Security Engineers (PSEs) for the Air Dominance Division.
The PSE team provides platform cybersecurity expertise, architectures, requirements, processes and tools to protect our Air Dominance products, including the F-15, F/A-18 and EA-18G, T-7A, MQ-25, MQ-28 and Phantom Works. The team is active in shaping product security requirements with industry and government partners - anticipating needs and integrating best-in-industry solutions.
The position will collaborate across the PSE capability, including PSE functional teams and executive leadership to refine and continue to build the Product Security Engineering capability, aligning with government policy and also meeting the needs for business unit execution. The position will also include interactions with senior government officials and other industry peers in shaping industry policy and requirements.
The Manager role requires working closely with a variety of engineering and non-engineering fields, to include Training Systems, Ground Support Systems, Mission Systems, Systems Engineering, Information Security, Government and Computing Security, and Supplier Management in addition to Program Office technical/management staff to ensure the relevance of the activities to meeting program and mission needs affordably.
Position Responsibilities:
Manage employees / teams performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Product Security Engineering.
Develop projects and/or operational plans aligned to division objectives.
Implement plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved.
Develop and monitor appropriate metrics to ensure performance to plan.
Support the execution and implementation of technical and functional excellence projects and processes applicable to the organization.
Ensure technical excellence by developing teammates, providing mentorship and instilling a culture of accountability and bias for action.
Create a cohesive team environment that embodies the Boeing Values.
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
Effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executive Management.
Develop a culture wherein Safety and Quality concerns are identified, assessed and actively managed as one element in the conduct of daily business
This position requires an active Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering related field or physics.
5+ years of experience working across organizations and cross-functional groups to ensure project coordination, implementation and completion.
3+ years of engineering management or technical management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
CISSP or equivalent certification
Knowledge of DoD policies and requirements related to Product Security
3+ years of experience in the field of product security, anti-tamper and/or secure computing
3+ years of experience in working with suppliers, developing statement-of-work and technical performance specifications
Understanding DoD contracting, developing proposals, and the Boeing estimating process
3+ Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to meet aggressive schedules
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Typical summary pay range: $165,000 - $235,000
