The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) organization is seeking a 2nd shift Production Engineering Manager to join the St. Louis team. This K Level management position will physically reside in Berkeley, MO.

This position will be responsible for all 2nd and 3rd shift production engineers across St. Louis Air Dominance programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.

  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

  • Manufacturing or Liaison Engineering Background.

  • Rate readiness experience.

  • Knowledge and experience with, assembly, integration, test and support of new/novel products.

  • Experience leading teams to execute contracts and projects for DoD customers in proprietary or classified environments.

  • Knowledge and experience with composite fabrication, assembly, integration, test and support of new/novel products.

  • Experience simultaneously balancing staffing, budgets, and execution to plan across multiple programs.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or related discipline.

  • 3 or more years of production engineering experience.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • ABET accredited degree in an engineering discipline.

  • Typically 9 years engineering experience or equivalent experience and education.

  • 1 or more years of experience leading engineering teams and projects.

  • Experience managing employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Production Engineering.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Summary pay range: 129,200 – 174,800
