Job Description

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Tooling Database Management:
  • Maintain and revise the tooling database with current and up to date information.
  • Add tooling records for new tools.
  • Tooling Maintenance and Coordination:
  • Clean and prepare tools for production use and storage.
  • Provide production with needed tools and store tools when tools are no longer needed while keeping tooling database current with tool status and location.
  • Tooling Audits:
  • Perform in house periodic audits of tool information and process.
  • Perform external customer and government audits of tool information and process.
  • Tooling Inventories:
  • Perform customer inventories at customer required frequency.
  • Contact suppliers in possession of tooling for verification to complete inventories.
  • Perform yearly wall to wall in house tooling inventory and update tooling database.
  • Tooling Dispositions:
  • Gather and prepare any tooling that is to be returned or disposed of at customer request.
  • Property Transfers:
  • Create, document, and follow through with Property Transfer Authority forms for any tools leaving site.
  • Document and record and tooling being supplied to site.
  • NBT coordination:
  • Track in process non-blueprint tools and insure documentation is completed.
  • Misc Support Tasks:
  • Supply tool inventory lists and documentation as needed.


Minimum Requirements:

  • High School graduate required. 
  • BS in Business or other related field of study preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. Person

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to climb stairs and deliver parts and tools amongst three different buildings. May be required to work in adverse conditions from time to time.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds on occasion.

Shift Requirements:

  • 6:30 to 3:00, may be asked to work alternate shifts on occasion to support company needs.
