We are seeking professionals interested in working collaboratively across an interdisciplinary and multinational team on cutting edge systems, and developing exciting new technologies, to support and grow Australia's defence capability.
We are seeking a talented Systems Engineerto work as a part of a team that provides engineering and test support to the Australian Defence Force through the certification of Tactical Data Links (TDL) as a part of the Tactical Information Environment Capability Assurance Service (TIE CAS) contract.
You will support a range of platforms across the ADF, conducting testing in both a laboratory environment and in the field with operational assets. The role is based in Brisbane with domestic travel as required.
Conduct of certification testing for a range of ADF platforms against military standards, in both a laboratory based test site and in an operational environment.
Assist with the analysis of ADF exercises to assess potential interoperability issues.
Develop experience with emerging TDL capabilities and their introduction into existing systems to meet future ADF interoperability requirements and in support of future projects.
Provide input to the planning and conduct of tasking to achieve the required outcomes.
Tertiary qualification or prior experience in a relevant technical discipline.
Ability to apply relevant systems engineering practices, standards and regulations.
Experience in Data Communication and/or Tactical Data Links is highly regarded as well as familiarity with Australian Defence Force platforms.
Previous software test experience or test experience in a software environment.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements, and have the ability obtain and maintain a Security Clearance (NV-1).
