We have bold ambitions for our shared service facility and now want to hire two Benefits & HR Specialist that shares our vision for first class delivery. The objective of the role is to ensure that Boeings benefits plans and programs are executed consistently across the businesses, in compliance with local labor market conditions & legislation. Working with the global benefits team and country stakeholders to transition global policies and programs.
You will work closely with senior HR and benefits stakeholders and oversee change management of different process launches/ transitions. As such, strong project management skills as well as proven abilities to help design and implement tools/processes are critical to this role.
In times of peak workload, you will also support more generalist HR statement of work, ensuring work is completed within the agreed SLAs. This will work both ways, as when you are busy, these teams will provide assistance to ensure specialist Benefit tasks are completed on time too.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Develop and execute a multi-year road-map for benefit operations.
Proactively monitor legislation and emerging practice across UK & ROI and transition local regulation into country policy.
Lead the change and ongoing service delivery, with a strategic mindset to operationalize new benefit programs, deploy and monitor compliance controls, audit and track operational performance of vendors and providers to include service improvement and service failure investigations, manage open enrolments and renewals processes.
Owner of UK + ROI pension governance, deal with all pension queries, owner of administration around auto enrollment and pension contribution file loads.
work collaboratively with the Total Rewards capability and with benefits providers and Brokers
Continuous Improvement: Define and monitor benefit’s critical to quality (CTQs) metrics, perform root cause analysis on defects and implement remediation, own continuous improvement strategy for HR Services.
Project Management: Responsible for transition of existing and launch of new benefits processes/programs. Standardizing processes based on local plans, regulations and requirements, aligning recommended processes with IT solutions.
Manage and guarantee accuracy of benefits overviews and information available on the company Benefits portal.
Run UK + ROI on boarding session’s specific to benefits for new joiners, train new starters on Worklife and Darwin.
Support the delivery of Wellness strategy including: Physical, Mental, Financial and Social Wellbeing and act as benefits ambassador.
Support in the delivery of P11D’s, work with local finance team to check accuracy of data prior to P11D being issued.
Owner of benefits related invoices processing, administering invoices and liaising with relevant teams to follow up payments and keep track of spending and possible budgetary changes
Facilitate and coordinate functional sub team meetings as needed to address issues or service gaps.
Perform transactions using HR technologies (e.g., Workday, case management, SharePoints)
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Extensive proven knowledge of pension regulations
Possesses knowledge of the legislation surrounding benefits for UK & ROI for employers
Extensive proven knowledge in ROI tax and social security legislation.
Proven project management skills.

The ability to be resilient at times, as well as maintaining high confidentiality, whilst providing an excellent customer experience to all queries
Advanced Excel and strong MS Word and PowerPoint skills.
Self-motivated, possess excellent planning skills and demonstrate high attention to detail, ensuring the Data Protection Act is adhered to at all times.
In depth and hands on experience of managing benefits in the UK & ROI .
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to simplify and communicate complex information.
You will be self-motivated and resilient as well as flexible and agile to respond to a fast paced working environment.
You have an excellent working knowledge of excel and have a passion for analyzing large data sets with an eye for detail.
You can operate independently and take ownership for your area of responsibility.
