Boeing Defence UK is offering an exciting and challenging level 3 Apprenticeship scheme studying Information Communications. This two year opportunity will be based in the Bristol office supporting the service management area and will be expected to work across a 7x24x365 shift pattern.
Work with customers over the telephone, direct PC to PC connection or via email to resolve problems with IT service issues (external or internal).
Ensure that requests for assistance are responded to in a timely manner according to agreed service level agreements (SLA’s).
Diagnose and resolve problems accurately making sure they are logged correctly and either closed successfully or escalated appropriately to 2nd Line support teams.
Seek to document and communicate new fixes and workarounds to 1st & and 2nd Line support teams.
Ensure full adherence to escalation procedures in Incident, Problem & Change Management.
Take ownership of escalations when asked, deliver solutions.
Seek to improve process & procedures.
The successful candidate will study towards obtaining a Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship, partnered with SGS College modules will include:
Help Desk support
1st & 2nd line support Telecoms Technician
Data Centre Support Technician
IT Field Technician
IT Support Analyst
IT Support Officer
Maintenance Support Technician
Network Field Operative.
Office IT Technician

Entry Level Requirements
Minimum of x5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 (or equivalent)
