Our content portfolio consists of e.g. • EASA professional, commercial and private pilot training material and question databases • FAA professional and private pilot training material and question databases • EASA Maintenance Training for Categories A1-A4, B1.1-B1.4 and B2 • Several eAircraft projects, consisting of Training Manual, Pre-flight Check and interactive Flight Deck Trainer • Several Type Rating Trainings • Others (e.g. Dangerous Goods, IFR/VFR Communications) The Flight Training Technical Pub Editor for Courseware Development will be involved in: * Implementation of reviews, corrections and newly authored content to XML * Maintaining and enhancing the existing content tool chain by application of resulting changes in the training material and development of new ideas on how to improve quality and stability * Communication with customers to find out about current needs or changed requirements to our product line * Maintaining our product line by providing expertise and applying it to certain parts of the training material * Contribution to new product releases by offering expertise and support to colleagues, including peer review * Contributing to new product types and releases by developing training improving ideas This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. * Completed theoretical pilot training (either privat pilot license (EASA or FAA), commercial pilot license (EASA or FAA) or airline transport pilot license (EASA or FAA)
* Experience in HTML or XML
* Experience with version control systems like Git
* Experience with the Atlassian Software Suite (JIRA, Bamboo, Artifactory,…)
* Further aviation related licenses (Maintenance technician, flight instructor, flight dispatcher or others)
