Jeppesen Corporate travel Services provides travel services to its diverse customer base as well as facilitating internal business travel functions for employees.
 
Summary:

Represents Jeppesen to clients (both internal and external), vendors and the travel industry to facilitate delivery of travel products and services. Responds to key account inquiries and ensures the customer's timely receipt of travel services. Initiates corrective actions relating to existing services, recommends service improvements and enhancements. Maintains current key clients by coordinating travel services to ensure quality and timely service. Benchmarks travel management industry standards, works with internal and external managers to understand customer expectations and develops and recommends most efficient and cost effective travel solutions adhering to then current travel and compliance policies.
 
Essential Duties:
  • Represents Jeppesen while maintaining effective relationships with clients, vendors and travel industry associates. Interfaces with all levels of Jeppesen functions and client organizations to facilitate delivery of travel management products and services aligned with both internal and external client needs and Jeppesen's financial goals.
  • Administers negotiated contracts for travel vendor services by implementing, communicating and monitoring compliance and performance to maximize benefit to Jeppesen and its clients.
  • Interacts with FliteSupport Services operations group to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
  • Interprets and enforces Jeppesen’s global corporate travel and expense policy.
  • Resolves, responds to and proactively anticipates client, vendor and internal Jeppesen needs and concerns and initiates actions for problem resolution, service enhancements, cost savings and process improvements.
  • Partners with colleagues and clients to understand the client's travel management needs and requirements. Incorporates those parameters in delivering travel services in alignment with Jeppesen’s financial goals to maximize efficiency and  cost savings, and meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Evaluates Jeppesen’s products, services and processes against industry standards and norms to validate existing service offerings and identify best practices to drive continuous improvements and maintain a competitive advantage. 
Education/Experience:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience with using SABRE GDS system.
  • Ideally have three years experience of working within the corporate / business travel market.
  • Have previous experience and training in airfare and ticketing.
 
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Able to work within a presurised, small team environment where accuracy and timliness of task completion is paramount.
  • Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts.
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies.
  • Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives.
  • Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives typically have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
  • Represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
