Perform duties as an Avionics Systems Engineer at the F-22 Combined Test Force (CTF) at Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), California. Individual will be required to develop solutions to a variety of complex technical problems by interfacing and coordinating with internal and external military, civil service and contractor personnel.
Position Responsibilities:

Previous F-22 experience is highly desired. Applicant must have excellent communication and leadership skills and the ability to interface with multiple organizations including Integrated Product Team (IPT) systems engineers, test pilots and management.
This position is for First Shift but, will require working flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary to support ground and flight test missions.
Position requires a current active Secret security clearance (updated within the past 6 years) and the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Active F-22 program access is preferred but, if not currently active, must be able to obtain F-22 program access. If, at any time, the applicant loses their security clearance, this will be grounds for dismissal.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
- This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance updated in the past 6 years. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.).
- Must possess a Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Electrical Engineering degree preferred
- Previous F-22 experience.
Typical Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
