Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversees planning, execution and documentation of tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Oversees activities to design, fabricate, build and analyze test systems, materials, components, software and methodologies.
  • Provides consultation on test requirements, test methods and capabilities.
  • Oversees system test preparations by guiding system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout and teardown.
  • Conducts complex tests, analyzes data and documents results; leads test readiness reviews.
  • Identifies and resolves test anomalies.
  • Provides consultation on complex laboratory and test-related problems. Coordinates test laboratory asset management.
  • Provides Boeing leadership to government agencies, safety and hazardous materials teams in the event of emergencies.
  • Mentors others.

Qualifications

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

 

Typical Education & Experience:
AA degree in related discipline and typically 9 or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):

  • 9 years experience planning, conducting, and documenting electronic tests on space-based products and systems.
  • 9 years experience designing, fabricating, and building test systems or elements of test systems. 
  • 9 years experience troubleshooting electronics test-related problems, and for training/mentoring less senior test personnel.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):

  • Experience in performance and support of RF test for space-qualified systems is a plus.
