We are currently looking for a Field Service Representative to provide on-site company representation and technical support to our customers in the London Region and in particular at London Heathrow.
As a technical advisor on all maintenance and operation of the aircraft, the successful candidate will be responsible for initiating corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services.
You will utilise your multi-disciplined technical expertise and company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operation and maintenance of company products by investigating product problems, determining cause, and developing and implementing corrective actions
Understand airline customer expectations and assist the customer in interpreting and using support data and documents, provide technical on-the-job training, and act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues
You will be expected to work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural and economic environments
You'll need to develop excellent relationships across multiple organizations and with all levels of airline customer and company personnel to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services
Provide technical and operational product data to in-plant organizations to influence product improvements
Facilitate internal company understanding of the customer s business to include operating norms, cultural environment, and organizational requirements.
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom. Position requires the ability to obtain the required security clearance passes for access to Customer and Airport restricted access areas. UK Driving license and ability to pass training to obtain Airport driving permit, is required to drive the Company's airport ramp access vehicle.
Qualified to degree level (or higher), preferably in Aerospace Engineering or hold a regulatory, Avionics or Airframe/PowerPlant licenses (FAA A/P or EASA Part 66 B1 or B2).
Preferred qualifications are 3+ years of experience working with airline customer and customer support.
Ability to work under pressure and be comfortable working ALL aspects of airline customer support; i.e. from handling emergency technical problems, to coordinating on-site support visits, social functions, etc
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - Computer literacy - Fluent in written and spoken English
Innovative thorough and practical problem-solving skills are critical to your success in this job
Must have complete understanding and application of product engineering design, maintenance principles, theories, and concepts in the commercial airplanes field with general knowledge of other related disciplines
Proven ability to serve as a customer advocate; maintain a positive attitude in a stressful environment, and must have the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
The successful candidate will exhibit a high level of honesty and integrity and must have significant proven experience working within the European airline industry in the airline maintenance and operational environment.

Initial training includes 5 weeks of New Hire Training in Los Angeles, 6-8 weeks of First Base Training at another Field Service base anywhere in the world.
Depending on the needs of the office and qualifications of the individual, it is possible to do 1-2 months of model specific training. Training is not
necessarily back to back, but can be spaced out throughout the first year.
