Jeppesen is looking for a
Business to Technical Specialist 3
Collaborates with project owners/stakeholders to understand business needs, project specifications, business case development and cost analysis. Identifies and documents customer business problems and objectives. Works with targeted product users to support the definition, documentation, validation and evaluation of business requirements and user stories of the proposed minimum valuable product (MVP). Translates business needs into clearly defined and documented detailed, high quality technical requirement, functional designs, and system supplemental specifications. Supports the verification that the delivered minimum valuable product (MVP) requirements meet the customer needs based on the specifications, ensuring minimal defect in both user acceptance test (UAT) and production. Raises issues and risks and assists in the resolution of those.
  • Supports strategic product owner to identify and document customer business problems and objectives. Formulates and communicates the business vision, understands the user personas, market trends, competitors, and market price. Supports in defining, refining and documenting business requirements and user stories of the proposed minimum valuable product (MVP).
  • Interacts with project stakeholders to clarify and define product and system requirements associated with proposed solutions, including translation of business requirements into technical requirements which is an interactive process throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Analyzes and documents features and user stories and develops detailed functional and user specifications as a basis for detailed design, development specifications and estimates with SME’s in technology development.
  • Interacts with technical product owner, system engineers, developers and software testers to ensure customer requirements are fully understood, implemented and validated as agreed. Executes user acceptance and scenario testing of implemented features and user stories.
  • Supports the user acceptance test (UAT) and formal evaluation of implemented features with the technical product owner, to validate and verify the operational use of a developed minimum valuable product (MVP) is matching customer expectations and ease-of-use.
  • Interacts with project owners/stakeholders and the development team, where required, to ensure a common understanding of requirements, expectations, activities, priorities and timeframes, tool landscapes and changes to these as they may occur.
  • Contributes to the creation, maintenance and review of product documentation including product and system requirements, user manuals, training material and release notes. Responsible to document the ‘Requirment and Change Management plan’
  • Responsible for assisting in the resolution of risk, defects and issues.
  • Completely understands and applies job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Possesses general knowledge of other related disciplines.
  • Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Develops solutions that are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives.
  • Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
