Job Description


Responsible for creating, following and maintaining implementation methodologies and processes for customer facing Operator implementations.  Reports milestones for implementations at a pre-defined and regular intervals.  Takes ownership of any Implementation Specialist activities to reach successful customer engagement and implementation execution.


Essential Duties:

  • Coordinates all implementation activities including creation of implementation plans, project schedules, deliverables and action items for Operator implementations.
  • Develops and implements a plan, methodology and repeatable processes for implementation.
  • Provides resolution of all project issues until customer acceptance.
  • Responsible for implementation and planning with Partners/Integrators.
  • Interfaces with the Portfolio, Program Management, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Business Consultants, Programmers, Solution Architects, Project Managers and other technical and support personnel in functional areas.
  • Participates in product technical reviews, technical design and verification and validation reviews.
  • Tracks milestones and provides appropriate levels of project reporting, both internally and externally.
  • Prepares technical and operational impact analysis.
  • Captures metrics and provides status for each phase of implementation.
  • Works with customers to understand and deliver on implementation requirements.  


Technical degree in a related field of study and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledgeable about aircraft dispatch and flight planning operations.
  • Experience using Jeppesen Flight Planning products to include, but not limited to JPE, JPDC, Jetplanner, Runway Analysis, Weight and Balance, etc. 
  • Knowledgeable about business aviation flight operations.
  • Familiar with aviation authority rules and regulations established the FAA, EASA, and other aviation authorities.
  • Applies extensive job practices, techniques, standards, principles, theories, and concepts. Has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Recognized as a job expert within the department/organization.
  • Provides technical solutions to complex problems that require ingenuity and creativity.
  • Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long-term perspective.
  • Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
  • Advanced customer facing skills, in both written and oral capacity
  • Organized and detail oriented with the willingness and ability to create and follow checklist
  • Bilingual is a plus, though not required.
