The Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (BDAS) team is seeking a Software Developer in Test in Englewood Co to help develop the next generation of an aviation data management system that manages data for airline and business customers around the world.  The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast-paced agile environment.  We seek candidates who have skills in agile methodologies, software development and test automation.

As a member of the BDAS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development, to maintenance and support of the customer’s delivered system. The position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of our project. The ADS team offers a collaborative mentoring environment where you have the opportunity to learn from or lead others.

Position Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain testing frameworks

Develop and maintain testing pipelines

Develop and execute automated tests

Create and manage the test environment infrastructure

Monitoring and documenting test results

Report, debug and verify defects

Agile development within a cross-discipline, global team:

• Participate in backlog grooming and requirements reviews
• Participate in team’s bi-weekly Agile ceremonies
• Use agile project management tools to track assignments and report progress

Help resolve technical and procedural impediments as needed

Hybrid role with occasional on-site work at posted location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience with automated testing
• Experience utilizing Agile development processes

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) testing
• Experience with Typescript (Angular) testing
• Experience working with XML/JSON files
• Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tools like Jenkins
• Experience with REST services or microservices
• Experience with Git and Git-Flow methodology
• Experience using a project management tool like JIRA or other
• Experienced in complete SDLC

Typical Education & Experience:

 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $110,500.00 –$149,500.00
