The Boeing Aviation Data Solutions team is seeking a Software Developer in Test in Englewood, CO to develop and sustain an aviation data management system that manages data for airline and business customers around the world. The successful candidate will drive the daily execution of product development in a fast paced agile environment. We seek candidates who have skills in agile methodologies, software development and test automation.
As a member of the ADS team, you will be involved in the entire software development life cycle, from idea creation and development, to maintenance and support of the customer’s delivered system. The position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of our project. The ADS team offers a collaborative mentoring environment where you have the opportunity to learn from or lead others.
Utilize tools such as Python to automate testing
Participate in agile development within a cross-discipline, global team.
Continuous integration, testing, and delivery within a CI/CD pipeline.
Decompose complex requirements and capabilities into executable discrete user stories.
Develops test procedures, and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan.
Manages test documentation including generation of test plans, preparation of test reports and archival of data and reports as required.
Reviews standards and regulations to assess the impact on the test plan.
Reviews software design and architecture documentation.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other technical degree
- 4+ years of development experience using Python
- 3+ years of experience working with a testing framework e.g. pytest, unittest, robot framework
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
- Relational database experience, e.g. PostgreSQL
Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience working with GIS (Geospatial Information Systems)
- Experience developing software products in a cloud computing environment e.g. Azure/AWS/Google Cloud
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
- NoSQL database experience e.g. MongoDB
- Experience using ALM
- Experience with Git
- Understanding of software integration and end to end testing methodologies
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
