Student- Recruiting Coordinator

This is a part time position working 20 hours or less per week.

Summary: 

This position will provide specialized expertise and support for Recruiters in the HR Talent Acquisition center of excellence. The selected candidate will serve in a support role and will be responsible for performing multiple activities related to the day-to-day administration for the assigned area(s). Effectively manage projects, tasks, scheduling, and communications with internal and external sources   Tracks and utilizes information and metrics to establish trends and make recommendations to improve processes.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

Responsible for performing the activities involved in the day-to-day administration for the assigned area(s). This may involve documenting and tracking information, entering information into human resources systems, updating intranet or internet sites, coordinating tasks with various internal and external contacts, creating communications and correspondence, calculating amounts, generating reports, providing information and answering questions, etc. Develops strong and effective working relationships with internal and external contacts including vendors when applicable. Understands the general concepts, terms and processes for the area(s) of expertise. Acts under the guidance of more senior human resources management and employees on interpretation and application of related policies and procedures. Responsible for executing project plans and manages tasks to completion for assigned area(s).

 

Tracks metrics to measure effectiveness of policies and procedures. Periodically analyzes the metrics to establish trends and report on results. May make policy or process improvement recommendations to increase effectiveness and desired outcomes.

Knowledge and Skills:

Proficient PC Skills—including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good organizational/project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

 

Education/Experience:

1 or more years' related specialized work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

0-12 months- working with anApplicant Tracking System experience (Taleo preferred)

0-12 months- experience using social media in a Talent Acquisition setting- would be preferred
