The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Environment, Health & Safety Manager to join the team in either Everett, WA or Renton, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Handles and integrates activities across more than one EHS subject area
Activities led include the planning and implementation of Disability Management, OSHA Recordkeeping and One Boeing Production System (BPS)
One BPS responsibilities will include representing EHS in the One BPS community, working with Safety Dojo and Safety Dojo On The Go, facilitating knowledge sharing on best practices and developing standards
Develops and performs project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and handles relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Leads, develops and motivates employees
This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Currently telecommuting two days a week on site but subject to change.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in leading informal and/or formal teams
5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
5+ years of experience with Disability Management and/or administering Reasonable Accommodation
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
