KC-46 Fleet Support Engineer

Boeing Global Services is looking for a Systems Engineer 2 to join the KC-46 Fleet Engineering team based in Everett, WA. The KC-46 Fleet Engineering team works closely with our aircraft customer to resolve fleet issues in coordination with BDS and BCA Engineering.
Position Responsibilities:
- Candidate will have exceptional communication and integration skills.
- Candidate will be responsible for managing and integrating fleet technical issues, supporting inflight emergency coordination, fleet crisis management, developing system improvement in the operation of our KC-46 Service Center.
- Interfacing with the customer on fleet issues, and reporting to senior management and customers on resolutions to fleet issues and or system performance.
This position requires the ability to obtain an active U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Export Control Requirement:
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 1+ years of engineering experience with Commercial and or Military Derivative Aircraft
- 1+ years of experience in aviation safety
- 1+ years aircraft maintenance experience
- 2+ years of presenting technical and administrative data to Senior Leadership
- Experience working with regulatory organizations, such as the FAA
- Exceptional Communication skills
- Exceptional Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to support 2nd shift and or 3rd shift, and weekends as required by customer needs
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with any of the following is desired:
- Previous military aircraft maintenance experience
- Experience support fleet aircraft
- Experience troubleshooting aircraft system/maintenance issues
- Experience with the KC-46 or 767 Aircraft
- Experience with Fuel Systems
Education & Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
