The Boeing Digital & Systems Engineering organization is looking for a Product Data Specialist to join our Enterprise Interoperability Standards and Supply Chain Collaboration group located in Everett, WA and Seattle, WA.
The Boeing Company collaborates with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders on the design, manufacture, service, and support of a wide array of hardware and software systems. In all cases, the data that defines the product; its specification, its performance, and its quality is exchanged using a variety of industry accepted standards for the definition of that data. The Enterprise Interoperability Standards and Supply Chain Collaboration group specializes in these standards and their use across the Boeing supply chain.
The group is comprised of a diverse team of Boeing employees who are experts in the fields of Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Architecture, and Product Support. Further, the group represents Boeing to several external standardization bodies at the national and international level.
We are current hiring for a Product Data Specialist who will support this team with data structure definition, data architectures, and data transformation requirements with a set of supply chain engagements between Boeing and Boeing suppliers.
Position Responsibilities:
Defines, documents, and interprets product requirements relevant to certification, configuration, data and data management and engineering processes
Develops, documents, and implements plans and processes to ensure products meet technical, data, regulatory and company requirements and to maintain configuration control
Tracks and reports data to monitor adherence to regulatory, data configuration and contractual requirements; supports audits and reviews to ensure products meet requirements
Assists with development certification plans, integrated process architecture infrastructures, process models, product structure definitions and/or data requirements/data management processes
Defines requirements for computing systems that exchange data from one computing application to another
Brief executive leadership on data standards, data exchange requirements, and other technical subjects related to configuration and data management
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
5 or more years of experience managing product definition data requirements, processes, or product data
3 or more years of experience in the aerospace industry
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3 or more years of experience with aerospace engineering configuration management practices
3 or more years of experience with industry data standards (ISO, ASME, IEC, IEEE, etc.)
1 or more years of experience operating in an Agile product team
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $85,00 - $115,000
