Return Flight – A STEM Re-Entry Program
Boeing has created the Return Flight program, a professional, mid-level position for people who have technical degrees in Engineering and want to reenter the workforce after a voluntary career break. Participants of the program will be hired as full-time employees and will participate in the program for 16 weeks which includes professional development, networking opportunities and mentoring.
As a Boeing Return Flight team member, you’ll gain hands-on experience, refine your technical skills, and collaborate with teams that do truly amazing things.
Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to:
- Re-engage your career passion
- Work in a team environment and with a mentor to update and refine your technical skills while finding solutions to real world problems.
- Interact directly with our company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Boeing.
- Rebuild a lasting professional network through engaging professional and social activities.
Current Engineering opportunities in the following locations:
- St. Louis, MO
- Long Beach Area, CA
- Puget Sound Area, WA
- Charleston, SC
- Ridley Park PA
Ideal candidates have:
- 5+ years of engineering related experience
- A minimum of 4 year degree in engineering
- Been on a break from an engineering related field for 3 years of longer
Some positions may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
Some positions may be union represented.
