Entry Level Software Engineer

Boeing is seeking Software Engineers for the opportunity to design, code, test and field new products. The work we perform centers on the development of the next generation of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems for the Defense, Intelligence Community and allied partners. Systems are deployed to aircraft, ships, submarines and ground mobile vehicles for purposes of collecting and exploiting signals in the radio frequency environment.
Software engineers work in an agile development environment while collaborating both within their team and across team boundaries. You will contribute to the entire life cycle of software development while utilizing languages such as C/C++, Java and more. Target environments range from embedded software to digital signal processing to application level software to user experience. This breadth of opportunities allows you to explore and expand your skills while contributing to programs across the organization.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Candidates with no prior Security Clearance but ability to obtain one will be considered.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher is require at the time of hire
- Possess a solid foundation in computer science
- Demonstrated competencies in data structures and algorithms
- Genuine desire to develop software to solve unique problems
- Demonstrated creative, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Collaborative teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
- Software development in a Linux environment
- Software development experience in an Agile environment
Typical Education/ Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard
