The B-52 Radar Modernization Program (RMP) Electronic Warfare (EW) Integrated Product Team has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join The Boeing Company in Ft Walton Beach, Florida. This individual will support the development and integration of EW subsystems with a new Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) Radar on the B-52 Stratofortress aircraft. Applicants will be provided with challenges, growth opportunities, and recognition for superior performance.
Fulfill responsibilities by application of Integrated Product Development processes, Program Management Best Practices, and Systems Engineering practices to define, document, coordinate and verity aspects of subsystem and system-level design, development and implementation associated with EW avionics integration requirements for the B-52 RMP program.
Work within a multi-disciplinary team, unifying various skills to meet and accomplish program goals and milestones.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing the consistent, honest, and open communication with insights into the trade space throughout the integration process.
Facilitate preparation, participate in, and conduct the following: Trade Studies, EW related subsystem/system Test & Integration (T&I), Analysis, Integration, EW System requirements definition and roadmaps for development, design and implementation of EW subsystems, EW subsystem interface definition and integration, aircraft Radar Frequency (RF) interoperability assessment and resolution, support of technical coordination meetings, design reviews, aircrew system advisory groups, interface working group team meetings.
Provide technical oversight to suppliers to support development and ensure procured products meet levied requirements.
This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance or higher. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Minimum of 3 years experience with operating radar systems and Electronic Warfare designs and testing
Currently possess a Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Previous military aircraft systems engineering, interface design/definition, avionics integration design and/or testing is highly desired.
Knowledge and experience with EW subsystems, Radar Frequency (RF) equipment and components, data links and/or RF integration/test of complex avionics systems is highly desired
Firm grasps of technical concepts and techniques
Able to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
Experience with engineering tools associated with requirements development, configuration management and military avionics is desired. Knowledge of how to derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
Knowledge and experience supporting and/or conducting engineering trade study process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
This position does not offer relocation. Candidate will have to relocate on their own.
