Job Description

Seeking multiple Level 2 Provisioning Specialists to support military defense programs in Fort Walton Beach, FL.

This requisition will remain open for a period of up to 6 months.



RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Develops, collects and stores provisioning data elements. Analyzes technical data and reports to determine spares provisioning requirements. Formulates recommendations for spare and replacement parts and levels. Establishes stocking requirements.

Provisioning is the management process for determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items necessary to operate and maintain an end item of materiel. Provisioning documentation is the analysis of engineering source data documents used to identify, recommend, and determine spare and repair part requirements. Provisioning provides the customer with the analytical decisions that enable the identification of affordable inventory requirements. Provisioning has impact on several supportability efforts which must be in place upon delivery of the aircraft as well as life cycle demands.

- Perform basic provisioning analysis, concepts and methodologies to effectively manage engineering change activity.
- Assists in preparation of provisioning technical documentation spare requirements by the review and analysis of engineering data (drawings, standards, Engineering Orders, etc.).
- Incorporate Maintenance Analysis task, Reliability & Maintainability, pricing and other related information.
- Access various Government & Boeing Information Systems to obtain necessary information.
- Review engineering documents to ensure accurate configuration is maintained for fielded spares.
- Record results of the analysis in top-down breakdown sequence and prepare deliverable quality product of DCN or Initial Provisioning records.
- Meet schedule spare requirements by its operational need date.
- Maintain a professional rapport with customers, management, co-workers, attend and participate in briefings at meetings sponsored by internal/external customers.
- Work as part of a local and/or virtual team with some its members located at multiple other Boeing sites

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree OR typically 3 or more years' related work experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED):
• Experience gathering, preparing and analyzing technical data for the development support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance, etc., supporting product lifecycle
• Ability to use standard computing software (Word, Power Point, and Excel) to conduct analysis, research, and develop knowledge of customer requirements.
• Experience supporting military aircraft platforms such as F/A-18, F-15, V-22, AWACS, Tanker, B-1B, Apache, Etc...

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Proficiency in MS Excel (building filterable tables, v-lookup, conditional formatting).
• Experience with using SLICwave database.

ADDITIONAL JOB RELATED INFORMATION:
• Applicant must be able to read and understand engineering data used to develop top-down breakdown lists of aircraft subsystems.
• Ability to perform basic provisioning analysis, concepts and methodologies to effectively manage engineering change activity.
