Key Responsibilities include:
Leads and manages supplier performance of the contracts and relationships to ensure delivery and quality for parts in support of aircraft modification programs for Buyer Furnished Equipment and Seller Furnished Equipment suppliers.
Collaborates with supplier counterparts and integrates supplier visibility systems with Boeing standards. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results and coordinate execution into contracting strategies.
Coordinates with the SM Modifications team, program business counterparts, engineering and technical stakeholders, productions supplier management teams and the Modification Services proposal board to ensure customer requirements are satisfied and strategies integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Leads SM representation in meetings such as Program Reviews, ITCM, PDR, CDR, FAI.
Develops and executes company strategic business priorities, procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies to support customer requirements (strategic development worked with the Integrated Project Team, and contracts executed through The Boeing Company (TBC).
Provides customer support (working with internal customer team) in identification of Bill of Materials (BOM) requirements and what is required from Boeing; work closely with Business Development teams to identify new supplier sources to satisfy business unit and customer requirements (new supplier sources will be approved through TBC with all contractual documents coordinated with TBC and Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supplier Quality group requirements.
Leads source selection and negotiations for contractual pricing, terms and conditions for products and services. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
◦Manage supplier agreements in support requirements for customers with emphasis on new parts procurement and used serviceable parts.
◦Leverage Boeing contracts for best pricing, terms, and supplier support.
◦Coordinate the procurement of parts and materials for modifications, repairs, and maintenance activities with the global BGS SM Modification team.
Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
Leads development and execution of quality and delivery improvement plans.
Manages supplier performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in service performance. Mitigates risks and issues.
Develops solutions to complex procurement problems that require ingenuity, innovation and adaptability. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
Communicates supplier and organization performance plan risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders and support executive level meetings.
A good knowledge of EASA PART 21.J and PART.G
A basic understanding of EASA PART 145 quality requirements
Experience working in a fast paced aviation environment with evolving requirements
