Global Fleet Care is a Boeing Global Services business that provides integrated solutions to Airlines in the areas of Fleet Technical Management, Inventory Management and MRO Maintenance Execution to customers
throughout the world and is a growing market segment for the company.
This role operates within Boeing Global Fleet Care Engineering support team.
The position will be review and development of processes to ensure co-ordination of complex technical AOG and Emergent events.
This to ensure normal operations continues and the required resources and co-ordination is dedicated to complex technical AOGs and technical emergent events.
The role will require to act as a focal to support, Initiate, evaluate, coordinate, implement and contain complex AOG and strategic issues.
The individual must have the proactive ability to Identify and plan and develop the processes, tools and activities to integrated the required support infrastructure for complex AOG and strategic issues.
There will be a regular need to addresses complex inquiries and provide complex engineering and on-site technical assistance to customers, ground support teams and maintenance facilities.
The position requires the individual to coordinates and supports proposal development and works under minimal direction.
Supervise, coordinate and direct activities of AOG stakeholders at the customers AOC, on site and within the Technical Operations Centre and Management Team.
Develop and build an AOG Co-ordination team, ensuring all members are exercise the qualities required when working in a high pressure working environment.
Review daily progress and management of complex and strategic issues and ensure critical communications lines are maintained and all key stakeholders are informed of progress or issues and aware of critical paths.
- Previous experience in a commercial aviation maintenance environment is desirable.
- You will be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience working with a maintenance system such as AMOS, is an advantage.
- Candidate must demonstrate an enhanced ability to communicate verbally and in written form.
- Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to work as part of an international/global team.
Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
