Jeppesen Poland a Boeing company is looking for an AvionX Systems Engineer based in Poland.
The successful candidate will join an innovative, multi-disciplinary team of avionics engineers designing, developing, testing, and delivering embedded avionics systems for commercial aircraft.
Job Description Summary
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Supports the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Responsibilities will span the system development lifecycle
Analyze customer use cases to define system requirements
Perform functional modeling of system behavior
Develop system architectures
Perform technical analyses of design proposals
Conduct functional, performance, and environmental testing of avionics systems
Develop verification and certification artifacts

1 or more years of professional experience
Willingness to learn and work with new technologies
Demonstrated design and system thinking skills
Familiar with DO178C standards
Familiar with LDRA/Vectorcast
Familiar with RBT
Interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering
Collaborating in international and multi-national projects
Technical degree in a related field of study and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
