We are looking for Technical Analyst / Test Lead to join a team of passionate people building mainly iOS mobile device solutions that support pilots in take-off and landing performance calculations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in Technical Analyst area
include the following:
  • Researches existing applications, system data, business processes and constraints to evaluate submitted requests against existing architectures. Analyzes information gathered in order to correctly identify the problem/request, validate request classification or support the new development initiative. Conducts alternative analyses to define boundaries of the problem/request and estimate effort. Consults with customers in clarifying requirements by reviewing business process needs. 
  • Translates business requirements into written functional specifications ensuring compliance with current documentation standards and version controls. Leads reviews of technical specifications. 
  • Analyzes change requests, customer issues and relevant facts to determine estimates, risks and alternative solutions to business partners or process owners to gain approval and relative prioritization. Advises stakeholders and provides support throughout their decision making process.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Past software development experience (iOS)
  • Knowledge of configuration management (using version control systems)
  • Functional analysis experience and writing and illustrating technical requirements showing impacts to multiple modules
  • Fluency in Office (Visio, Word) for requirements
  • Ability to analyze system wide impact of changes and creating tasks for follow up
  • Experience in end to end ownership of multiple features from concept, development to production support

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in tests area include the following:
  • Designing and Writing new automation tests in C++, Objective-C, Swift.
  • Maintaining the test framework.
  • Generating and reading reports from automation tests.
  • Creating and maintaining the test documentation in software supporting development (JIRA, Contour, Confluence).
  • Creating scripts for supporting CI/CD processes and testing processes (preferable in ruby, python).
  • Reducing manual activities as much as possible
  • Keeping and developing the test process.

Knowledge and Skills: 
  • Test automation in Python/Ruby 
  • Swift, Objective C, C, C++ experience there is a plus for each of those
  • Agile, Scrum experience /interest
  • git, Jenkins, JIRA
  • Great to have an interest in TDD/BDD

Additional skills:
  • GTest, GMock, google benchamark
  • Performance testing and web testing (Selenium)
