The Opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia is one of the largest Defence contractors to the Australian government.

We are seeking an asset lifecycle management specialist to lead a small team responsible for through-life support of telecommunications infrastructure, equipment and facilities assets at our Geraldton site.

You will be making a meaningful contribution in supporting the capabilities of our National Security Community customer, the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD).

Responsibilities

  • Asset lifecycle management of satellite earth terminals, proprietary ICT systems, buildings, facilities and civil infrastructure.
  • Lead a small team providing configuration management, maintenance planning, and integrated logistics support services to ensure that operational and support requirements are met.
  • Maintain the customer assets register using asset management systems and ensure configuration item information is accurately maintained.
  • Asset sustainment planning and provision of advice to support decision making.
  • Lead a customer focused culture of continuous improvement and collaboration to drive productivity and cost-effective service delivery.

Experience/Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in managing through-life sustainment of telecommunications infrastructure, plant and equipment, or facilities systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team of specialists delivering excellent customer service and quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment with internal and customer stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to WH&S and workplace diversity.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills including an ability to communicate at multiple organisational levels.
  • Ability to use initiative, prioritise and work within defined timeframes.
