Job Description
Digital Receiver Technology (DRT), a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is seeking dynamic and ambitious Digital Hardware Electrical Engineers to join their team in Germantown, MD. 
Position Responsibilities:
  • The responsibilities include design, simulation, and characterization of digital circuitry
  • Use test equipment to take circuit measurements and clearly document results and assist with the assembly and test of hardware module prototypes.
  • Strong background in basic circuit analysis, microelectronic circuits (transistor operation and analog design), and preferably coursework in digital circuit design
  • High initiative, attention to detail, and good debug skills required

Qualifications
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry by June of 2019.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Basic circuit analysis, microelectronic circuits (transistor operation and analog design), and preferably coursework in digital circuit design
  • Test equipment experience
This position is based in Germantown, MD and does not offer relocation assistance. This is not a negotiable benefit.  Applicants must reside in the area or be willing to relocate at their own expense.
 
Typical Educational/Experience:  Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
