Introduction:
At Boeing Defence UK our successful Rotorcraft Support Services for Chinook maintenance requires an Chinook Depth Operations Lead for our Gosport site in support of the TLCS-2 Depth output.
The Chinook is supported by Boeing at RAF Odiham, Boscombe down and Gosport sites. With the award of the TLCS-2 contract until 2026 and to support this growth a new Chinook Depth Operations Lead role has been created.
Responsibilities:
- End to end ownership for reporting on all aircraft during depth maintenance.
- Depth Logistics operations cell (DLOC) lead
- Reporting in to the TLCS-2 Depth PM
- Reach out to all other Boeing Leads and managers to progress any actions
- Joint aircraft status report (JASR) Ownership
- Supplier interface
- Customer interface
- PMM Reporting
- Risk issue and opportunity (RIO) management.
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.
Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance (SC) for which UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate the following.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Subject matter expert and experience in an aerospace environment.(Chinook preferred)
- Strong leadership skills and experience of working in a supplier/customer environment.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers and key stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of and experience with communications at all levels of the organisation and able to adapt with difference approaches to suit the environment.
