The Reception is the heart of the company; the warm, welcoming and caring service hub. You are the face of the company, you are the voice of the company – you are the first impression for all our visitors to the Front of House: customers, colleagues, suppliers and other partners. You have a vital position where you represent not only your respective facility but also the entire Boeing Company.  

First impressions last. Therefore, you will be a very important person at the Jeppesen/Boeing office in your role as our new Receptionist / Administrative Assistant in the Front of House. You will greet visitors and callers. You will assist with arranging visits, meetings, conferences and other guest events. You will support all employees and help out with other services such as office duties. You will conduct administrative duties. The position is a full-time on-site position.

Your profile

  • We are looking for a person who likes to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment, and who enjoys acting as a representative for the company
  • You have thorough experience from working in a Reception and enjoy the role as “Jack of all trades”
  • You are positive, extrovert and flexible
  • You can easily (and correctly) communicate in both Swedish and English
  • You are responsible and can take initiatives. You are organized and a skilled administrator
  • You will be a key person focusing on providing a high level of service to both visitors and employees

As a Receptionist, you are responsible, among other tasks, for:

  • Opening and closing the office
  • Reception and administrative duties and tasks  
  • Preparing visitors badges, meeting rooms, coffee preparations etc.
  • Receiving, welcoming, directing and signing in visitors, ensuring a high standard of hospitality  
  • Operating the telephone system
  • Parking permits, organization of taxis and couriers, mail distribution  
  • Ensuring the Reception and Front of House areas are spot-less and well-taken care of in a professional manner

Basic Qualifications:

  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills in English as primary work language and Swedish

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Has several years of experience in reception, customer service and administration
  • Has the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different departments
  • Is a team player with high energy, service-mindedness, positive attitude, and dedication to quality and accuracy, solution-oriented, has high integrity, is open-minded and interested in learning
  • Demonstrates organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Has a strong customer service background and willingness to “walk the extra mile”
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Adobe Acrobat
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, multicultural environment and acting as the face and voice representative for the company
  • The receptionist is the key person focusing on delivering service excellence to both visitors and employees

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Sweden. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Sweden. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
