Job Description

At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place. From the seabed to outer space, you can contribute to work that matters with a company where diversity, equity and inclusion are shared values. We’re committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that’s welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth. Find your future with us.

Jeppesen, a subsidiary of The Boeing Company, is one of the largest software development companies in Gothenburg. We develop innovative optimization solutions for the world’s leading airlines. We are dedicated to continuous improvement, delivering more value to our clients, and exploring emerging technologies such as quantum computing, AI and big data analytics.

At Jeppesen’s office in central Gothenburg, Sweden you will work in a one-of-a-kind software development organization with fascinating solutions that make a real difference to people around the world. Most importantly, you will be expected to make a difference. We are very proud of our culture of trust and helpfulness.

We are currently looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer who will be part of a team in the web development area of our company. The technologies we use are Java (Spring Boot) for the backend and Angular for the frontend. If you have a passion for creating intuitive, user-friendly web applications using modern technologies, you'll feel right at home.

You are expected to, over time, understand and assume ownership of the entire flow of software development. Your role is anything but monotonous and comes with a diverse set of tasks. You'll be crafting both backend and frontend features, enhancing our CI/CD infrastructure, and pioneering our transition to cloud-based architecture.

•    Be committed and self-sufficient, as well as helpful and collaborative
•    Keep up-to-date with current best practices and never shy away to drive and implement changes.

Employer will sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
