Job Description

Boeing is searching for a strong leader in the Information Technology domain to support a growing program that provides operations and engineering improvements of a mission-critical system in a dynamic real-time operations environment.

As a technical team member on the program, you will be responsible for the development and management of information technology (IT) project plans and deliverables including asset management for program hardware and software requirements for our client’s proprietary programs.

We translate customer needs into detailed requirements for system integrated designs including system architectures for current operations and program growth, facility design, hardware selection, software selection and development, system integration, testing and operations/maintenance.

The ideal candidate must be able to:

• Perform Project Management on Information Technology projects 
• Support the determination of project scope, schedule and budget baselines, based on an understanding of the system development lifecycle
• Perform asset management on program hardware and software license renewal requirements
• Develop and execute project management plans, including project communication plans.
• Support incorporation of quality management systems for IT projects.
• Monitor project deliverables to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with the program’s Chief Engineer and Project Management Office to plan, develop, design, integrate and maintain project work associated with the implementation of changes to or new capabilities into the system.
• Perform complex problem identification and resolution.
• Understand how security solutions integrate into information systems.
• Understand the operational issues encountered during system performance of the customer’s objectives, and identify efficiency improvements that enable program growth.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications/ Experience: Required
CURRENT TOP SECRET/SCI CLEARANCE WITH POLYGRAPH IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.

 

Position is contingent on clearance verification, adjudication and customer concurrence.

This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance with Polygraph. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

 

Typical Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
