Job Description

Openings for positions requiring DoD Secret and DoD Top Secret clearances. Applicants who have had a successful SSBI in the last 7 years or an active Secret, Top Secret or SCI in the last 24 months, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship, should apply.

AM&MS is seeking candidates to develop and maintain detailed requirements and designs for various electronic products, assist with implementing custom digital electronic system designs of limited scope and develop software interfaces and information management. Candidate will also provide engineering support throughout the life cycle of the product and conduct trade studies and literature research to support future product designs. Occasional travel to Boeing, subcontractor, and/or customer facilities may be required.

Hands-on experience building and debugging in a lab environment, gathering data for technical performance measures and performing basic analysis. Develop system architecture, requirements and design. Perform trade studies on hardware products; develop engineering test requirements and unit/subsystem/system test plans; perform hardware test & system integration.

Basic (Required) Experience:

  • A successful DoD background investigation that resulted in a Top Secret or SCI clearance within the last 7 years or an active Secret, Top Secret or SCI clearance in the last 24 months
  • Must be able to obtain an TS/SSBI security clearance.
  • Candidate must have demonstrated/proven ability to work well in a team environment
  • Looking for candidates with experience with Windows OS, Linux OS, real-time C++; design experience and implementation of COTS PCI and VME hardware interfaces; military sensor interfaces and the use of verification test benches

Desired Experience:

  • Java experience is a plus. Experience with devices such as signal generators, GPS emulators, etc. is also desired.
  • Experience desired with communication equipment (radios and SATCOM terminals), navigation and control and interfacing with COTS hardware and various sensor types.

Typical Education/Experience:

Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
